Algarve Autos Car Hire Conditions of Rental

Free delivery / collection at Faro airport from 07.00hrs to 24.00hrs, other locations / hours by request.
Minimum age is 23 years old for groups A, B, C and 25 for other groups.
Driver must have a valid driving licence held for at least one year.
Optional extras: excess waiver, occupants insurance, assistance/coverage to Spain,roof- racks.
Deposit required. Credit cards welcome (Visa, Master, Diners and American Express).
Not included in the rates are:
Petrol/Diesel
Any fines
Repair of the vehicle caused by speeding, alcohol or drug influence
Prices shown are for 7 days calculated from the time you collect the car to the same time on the seventh day.
(Tolerance max. 2 hours)

We can reserve the car group, not the specific model but we will always try to deliver you the preferred car model.
All car types can be replaced with a similar type or model without previous notice.
The prices above are valid until December 31st 2011.
GENERAL
We deliver cars at Faro International Airport and throughout the Algarve.
We accept one-way reservations, ie: delivery Algarve, drop off Lisbon or vice versa. The surcharge for this service is 100 Euro.
Minimum rental period is 3 days.
Minimum drivers age is 23.
Renter must have a driver’s license valid (UK or USA or EU) and held for more than 1 year. Please ensure to have all necessary documents available for prove.
Rental agreement, drivers licence and passport have to be kept at all times with the driver during driving the vehicle.
RESERVATION
To make a reservation we must have full details of your flight number, flight time and departure airport.
When completing the reservation form, please check your email address once again as without, we cannot proceed with your reservation.
Reservations must be done not less than 72 hours in advance of your arrival in Portugal to guarantee a confirmation of your booking.
Roof racks are only available for car groups: A, B, C, D.
PRICE INFORMATION
One rental day is equal 24 hours - Each fraction of a day is considered as an additional day - we tolerant up to 2 hours difference.
Prices quoted on this page are our best rates and further discount cannot be granted.
Rentals which extend across two months are charged at the appropriate price for the rented days in each month. You are not charged at the rate for the cheapest or most expensive month for the whole time of hire.
Bookings made for less than 4 days require a delivery surcharge of 13 Euros per rental.
All quoted rates are in the currency Euro, include free mileage, break down insurance in Portugal, all local taxes, VAT 23%, unlimited public liability, collision damage waiver (CDW) and theft protection (TP) with a non- weighable excess amount (Option A only )
INSURANCE
In addition to compulsory third party insurance, collision damage waiver (CDW) cover is provided and included in the price. Please note this excludes excess damage waiver insurance. (Option A)
Personal accident insurance is available for 2.50 Euro per day.

INSURANCE
In addition to compulsory third party insurance, collision damage waiver (CDW) cover is provided and included in the price.
Personal accident insurance is available for 2.50 Euro per day.
Insurance cover is subject to an excess and your maximum liability is indicated below. (in brackets the price for optional excess waiver)

Option A : DEPOSIT
The car hire company requires a valid credit card number for security reasons (can be in a different name than the main driver!). If not possessing a valid credit card, a cash security deposit has to be left which is fully returnable, when car is returned damage and loss free - Cheques cannot be accepted PLEASE NOTICE THAT WITHOUT VALID CREDIT CARD OR CASH DEPOSIT NO VEHICLE CAN BE DELIVERED.
Option B :
All insurances are included except cover for tyre and window damage. Please see terms and conditions for exclusions.
