                                                        Algarve Autos Car Hire Conditions of Rental

-   Rate in Euros include:
- Unlimited free mileage
- One additional driver
- One Baby seat or booster seat
- Airport delivery during 6am – 11pm or hotel delivery during 9am – 6pm.
  Only for bookings of minimum 6 days!
- Breakdown insurance in Portugal
- Collision damage waiver (C.D.W) with insurance excess (see Terms) including                                comprehensive insurance, unlimited mileage,
  VAT and 24 hour assistance
   (valid in Portugal including excess).

-    Free delivery / collection at Faro airport from 07.00hrs to 24.00hrs, other locations / hours by request.

-    Minimum age is 23 years old for groups A, B, C and S and 25 for other groups.
    Driver must have a valid driving licence held for at least one year.

-    Optional extras: excess waiver, occupants insurance, assistance/coverage to Spain,roof- racks.

    Deposit required. Credit cards welcome (Visa, Master, Diners and American Express).

    Not included in the rates are:
    Petrol/Diesel
    Any fines
    Repair of the vehicle caused by over speeding, alcohol or drug influence

  Prices shown are for 7 days calculated from the time you collect the car to the same time on the seventh day.
  (Tolerance max. 2-3 hours)

  3 DAY PRICES ARE HALF 7 DAY
  More than 3 days and less than 7 days ---    Pro rata with the 3 day price     More than 7 days --- Pro rata with the 7 day price

  We can reserve the car group, not the specific model but we will always try to deliver you the preferred car model.
  All car types can be replaced with a similar type or model without previous notice.

  The prices above are valid until December 31st 2010.
GENERAL
 We deliver cars at Faro International Airport and throughout the Algarve.
 We accept one-way reservations, ie: delivery Algarve, drop off Lisbon or vice versa. The surcharge for this service is 100 Euro.
 Minimum rental period is 3 days.
 Minimum drivers age is 23.
 Renter must have a driver’s license valid in Portugal (UK or USA or EU) and held for more than 1 year. Please ensure to have all       necessary documents available for prove.
   Rental agreement, drivers licence and passport have to be kept all the time with the driver during driving the vehicle.

DEPOSIT
 The car hire company requires a valid credit card number for security reasons (can be in a different name than the main driver!). If not possessing a valid credit card, a cash security deposit has to be left which is fully returnable, when car is returned damage and loss free - Cheques cannot be accepted PLEASE NOTICE THAT WITHOUT VALID CREDIT CARD OR CASH DEPOSIT NO VEHICLE CAN BE DELIVERED.

RESERVATION
 To make a reservation we must have full details of your flight number, flight time and departure airport.
 When completing the reservation form, please check your email address once again as without, we cannot proceed with your reservation.
 Reservations must be done not less than 24 hours in advance of your arrival in Portugal to guarantee a confirmation of your booking.
 As we have no desk at the airport a friendly staff member of the company will await you at the arrival gate bearing a sign with your name on it. Please look for this sign. He will complete your rental agreement at the arrivals and the full rental amount has to be paid upon signing the agreement.
 Roof racks are only available for car groups: A, B, C, D.
PRICE INFORMATION
 One rental day is equal 24 hours - Each fraction of a day is considered as an additional day - we tolerant up to 2 hours difference.
 Prices quoted on this page are our best rates and further discount cannot be granted.
 Rates for 3 days are 50 % of the weekly rates.
 Rates more than 3 and less than 7 days are based on the 3 day pro-rata.
 Rates more than 7 days are based on the 7 day pro-rata.
 Rentals which extend across two months are charged at the appropriate price for the rented days in each month. We are not charged at the rate for the cheapest or most expensive month for the whole time of hire.
 Bookings made for less than 6 days require a delivery surcharge of 13 Euros per rental.
 Full payment is required upon signing the rental agreement at the airport. The payment can be done with a valid credit card (Visa/Master/Eurocard, Diners Club or American Express), or in cash (also foreign currencies) - foreign cheques cannot be accepted.
 All quoted rates are in the currency Euro, include free mileage, break down insurance in Portugal, all local taxes, VAT 19%, unlimited public liability, collision damage waiver (CDW) and theft protection (TP) with a non-weighable excess amount (excess amount depend on the received car group).
 PROMOTIONS
 Promotions are valid until cancelled by Algarve Autos or if lack of availability occurs.

 Algarve Autos has the right to cancel any promotion without previous notice. Reservations made and confirmed by us before the time of cancellation are still entitled for the promotion.
 INSURANCE
 In addition to compulsory third party insurance, collision damage waiver (CDW) cover is provided and included in the price.
 Personal accident insurance is available for 2.50 Euro per day.
 Insurance cover is subject to an excess and your maximum liability is indicated below. (in brackets the price for optional excess waiver)

 Group C1/D/D1/E/H - 750 Euros (7,50 / day)

 Group E1 / F /F1 / G / G1 / H1 – 1.000 Euros (10,00 Euros / day)
