Q:How flexible are the 7 day packages?
A:We can of course change any element of the golf packages . We are happy to put together tailor made itineraries to suit your requirements.
Q:Are flights included in the price?
A: No. But we are happy to add these to your golf package.
Q: Can we share accommodation with more than 2 people?
A: All of the accommodation included in our golf packages will allow 3 or 4 people sharing
Q:Does my travel insurance include loss of golf clubs?
A: Most insurance policies have a maximum they pay out for any lost item, typically £300.00
You can, by paying a little extra increase your limit.
Q:Can I hire golf clubs in Portugal?
A: Absolutely. We will organise this for you at a price of £ 45.00 per week.!
Q:Can we play in an official tournament ?
A: If you wish to give your golfing holiday a little more of a competitive edge why not join us and
compete in one of our Play-Better- Golf tournaments. With prizes for the best net score the most stableford points and nearest the pin Lots of fun! A small supplement of £21.00 applies.
Q:Are there opportunities for improving my golfing skills?
A: Play-Better -Golf organises individual lessons with video analyses as well as group clinics where specific skills are being taught. A great chance to pick up some tips and improve your game. We have recently added our Golf skills shoot out day! Test your skills against those of your playing partners. A real fun day golf away from playing 18 holes.

Q1: Is my money safe once I paid a deposit or the balance?
Our guide to Algarve restaurants
A 10% deposit will secure Tee times, Hotels reservations, Car hire bookings or Airport and Golf transfers, excursions and any other arrangement PlayBetterGolf- Algarve has booked for you. The balance becomes payable 5 weeks before you go.
Flights need to be paid in full at the time of booking.
(please note a surcharge of 2% is payable on monies paid by credit card; debit cards and/or cheques incur no additional charges). You can book with 100% confidence with
PlayBetterGolf – if we book your flights your holiday will be protected under our ATOL licence; if we don’t book your flights you are protected under our ABTA licence. Credit card companies will refund all goods or services in excess of £ 100.00 not received .
This section 75 of the credit card act applies to any transaction, worldwide.
Despite their high profile for customer protection ABTA and ATOL refer customers to their credit card provider in such cases.
Q2: How do I receive my documents?
All your reservations will be confirmed to you by email. You will receive by email your Green Fee, Car rental, Transfer, Hotel, Flight and Excursions vouchers. If you prefer to receive these by post please do let us know.
The majority of courses do suggest in their terms and conditions that they can ask for your certificate. However in practise they do not.
Most golf clubs will insist on the correct golf attire. Polo shirt ( collar) , shorts ( no beach wear), socks, and proper golf shoes ( no trainers, most specify soft spikes only).
They will ask you to change if you do not adhere to the dress code.
It varies from golf course to golf course. Most golf courses do not accept pre bookings for buggies. The exception are the Vilamoura courses where you can save significantly by making
an advance reservations for buggies. ( Typically €40 per buggy against € 50 on the day ) Look out for offers during off season months where more courses offer 2 players + buggy deals.

The average saving for a group of 8 is approximately 12.5% on accommodation, green fees and transfers. Do remember to book well in advance if you are looking for consecutive tee times.
The saving per person does not increase much beyound 12.5% for larger groups as most discounts our based on 1 free in 8.
Most quotations will be made to you in Euros. Your payment will be processed in British Pounds at a rate equivalent to that of your debit card issuer. This rate is below the official bankers rate but higher than a regular high street exchange buro.
Once we have received an email confirming the cancellation, the administration charge applied will be £30.00 per person. This is in addition to the 100% flight costs, which will have been paid to the airline in advance at the time of your booking. Once you have paid your full balance a 50% charge will apply up to 14 days before your original departure. Bookings cancelled within 14 days will result in loss of all monies paid or due at the time.
